PC manufacturing major, Intel Corp, which recently plunged into mobile phone business, is all set to seize the manufacturing of its motherboards. Notably, Intel has plunged into this motherboard productions over two decades. In fact, the decision seemed to have come in like a shock to all those who have purchased Intel motherboards and to those who work in that department. Well, nothing to worry, Intel Corp said that even after the production is stopped, it would not stop its service on these products.

If you love Intel motherboard and want to get one for your PC, you still need not worry as Intel would not stop its manufacturing right away. The production would come to a halt in the next three years. This would simply mean that for another three years the motherboards would appear in the market. Those employees working in its motherboard department would be shifted to its mobile phone department.  So, all in all, Intel seems to be now focussed more on mobile phone market. Lets see if Intel phones can compete with mobile majors in years to come.
