Micromax rolls out 5-inch tablet

Earlier tablets' screens were 10-inch-wide. Slowly it got down to seven inch and now five inches tablets occupied the prominent place in the market. Yes, true it is. With people looking forward to using tablet even as a mobile phone, it has become a tougher task to handle a seven inch tablet as a mobile phone. Therefore, many persons reportedly chucked out the tablets and moved down to smart phones with 3.5 and 4 inch screens. The technology majors, who noticed the same, have made some changes to the tablets and the result—five inch tablet.

Micromax, which reportedly, became first economy tablet to introduce a sim slot in its seven its talk tablet has rolled out five inch tablet mobile phone. However, it doesn't come with economy price tag. You certainly need to have deep pockets to own one for it costs Rs. 15,000. If we look at the specifications of this pretty tablet, it works on 2,100 mAh battery and comes with full capacitive touch with a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The best part of this phone is that it has got a eight mega pixel camera with LED flash and 4X zoom.

The tech savvies were apprehensive whether people would fork out so much money on a brand, which is known for economy handsets. If five inch is all that matters then Karbonn brand recently launched a four inch Android phone for just Rs.5000 although other specifications might vary. And if camera is the main perspective then one can easily get a 14 mega pixel sleek camera for Rs.5000.  Anyway, lets see whether Micromax can make it big in Indian market with this smart tablet.
