Astronomers at the University of Toronto discovered a new planet named super-Jupiter, which happens to be 13 times bigger than Jupiter, which has been considered as biggest planet in the solar system. The astronomers identified that this planet was orbitting a star named Kappa Andromedae, which happens to be 2.5 times bigger than Sun and 170 light years away from earth.
Astrophysicists said that there were plenty of exo-worlds, they can't be found out easily because of the stars' light, which will be billion times brighter than planets. They said only a small signal can be found, which can give a clue about a planet over there. But then overwhelming light from the star will leave no scope to identify the tiny signal.
In the image above, you can see the discovered Kappa Andromedae and super-Jupiter. While the red big dot in the centre is K Andromedae, the small yellow colored dot towards its left side is super-Jupiter. Now that super-Jupiter was found, the astronomers said that they might find a few more planets around Jupiter.
