Hop, future suitcase tracked by bluetooth

Sometimes inventions lead the user to utmost laziness. Imagine you walk down your office and you don't have the burden of carrying your luggage around. Sounds great is it not, well I am afraid we are going to have multiple orders for this product and we might in due course turn into a e-com portal, instead of news. Well the latest invention is the 'Hop' suitcase that shall follow you where ever you go till your mobile's bluetooth is on. Carry safe, robbery safe and what not all in a day's work.

The basic technology behind the novelty is the work of Spanish native Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez. The contact between the luggage and the mobile phone is due to three sensors attached to the suitcase. This helps the baggage identify your specific device and shall follow you.

In case the signal is lost, then it locks it self up and the owner's mobile is immediately alerted. Mr Gonzalez, a student of Master’s in Innovation, Design and Engineering in London, feels that the product is still in the initial stage and needs fine tuning. His design was one of the winners of Spain’s James Dyson Award this year.

The amazing thing about the whole issue is that even before the viable production of the product, the video had gone viral over the info highway. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
