Google's Nexus 7 tabs set to dominate

In a few months it would be difficult to know where the search giant Google will not be. Oh! This is off the records, but true the latest launch of the tech genie in the tablets market which was till day dominated by the Apple and Microsoft, is sure to make the leaders run for their worth, say sources. The Nexus 7 range sporting the company's own software Android is sure to dent the markets heavily.

During Google's opening day keynote at Google I/O 2012 in California, the company announced a new Asus-branded tablet called the Nexus 7. With a 7-in screen. “It’s targeting Amazon,” an executive at Taiwan’s Asus, which is making the device, told Reuters.

Features of the Nexus 7: The tab sports a 7-inch, IPS (in-plane switching) screen, with a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels. The tablet is also the first 7-incher to house a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, which includes a 12-core GPU. And other regulars are a Micro-USB port, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2-megapixel front camera (no back camera included), a gyroscope, GPS, accelerometer, microphone, and 802.11a/b/g/n-compatible Wi-Fi. The device measures 10.45mm thick, weighs 0.7 pound, and has a textured, grippy backside with both "Nexus" and "Asus" embossed on it. Nexus 7 comes loaded with the latest version of Android 4.1 OS called Jelly Bean.

Jelly Bean: Jelly Bean is one initiative that is sure to make Nexus 7 marketable, particularly if the user is a workaholic on the move. Beacuse unlike its competitors the typing speed improves on the soft pad and also helps one to avoid spell mistakes. Good na!!!
