PV Sindhu Loses Asian Games 2018 Final:- Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu planned big to win Gold in Asian Games 2018. She fought with top player Tai Tzu Ying and lost by 21-13, 21-16 in two consecutive sets. Tai became the first shuttler to win gold for Chinese Taipei. PV Sindhu had to adjust with silver medal after she lost the final. The win extended Tai Tzu Ying’s head-to-head against PV Sindhu to 10-4. No Indian shuttler reached the final in Asian Games and PV Sindhu is the first shuttler to get silver.

Tai Tzu Ying showed pure domination right from the first go and the match concluded in 34 minutes. This happened to be the third defeat in a big final this year after Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and World Championship summit. PV Sindhu outplayed Japan's world number two Akane Yamaguchi in the semi finals earlier and made it to the finals.
