Stock Markets collapse

The Indian stock markets have collapsed heavily on Tuesday as the crude oil prices have dropped to lowest ever in the last five and half years. The Bombay Stock Exchange has so far lost over 700 points and trading below 27,500 mark while the Nifty is down by 150 points which currently battling for the 8,300 mark. With this nearly, stocks were down by nearly 3 percent reporting its biggest fall since the crisis of Rupee.

Indian Rupee is trading at Rs 63.35 against dollar. We may not expect any cut down of petrol prices as recently the Union government has increased the excise duty. We can anticipate till the next review meeting of the oil prices which would take place on 15th of this month.  Reserve Bank of India's review meeting on policy rate this month and Union Budget 2015 in February could also pose a threat to markets again.
