Stock Markets end positive

The Stock Markets started the week on positive note, both Bombay Stock Exchange and Nifty touched new highest today. BSE gained 183 points while Nifty crossed 7,600 and ended above it. The Markets were completely dependent on the President of India Pranab Mukherjee speech in the Parliament.

President who outlined the government's priorities like inflation, revival of economy are the factors influenced the investors and with government in favor of FDIs, foreign investors cheered the moment. The Indian Rupee too gained and closed at Rs 59.80 against the Dollar.

However, Arun Jaitley's meeting with Bankers tomorrow and key decisions could have more influence later this week. Analysts are expecting a reformist and growth oriented budget with subsidy cuts from the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley next month.
