Amit Shah Slams Congress and BRS Government:- Home Minister Amit Shah had made comments on Congress and BRS Government for hesitating to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17. In the Karnataka Elections campaign, the BJP leader also commented that Congress party and KCR Government were failed to remember those who fought and sacrificed their lives to liberate Hyderabad from the clutches of the "brutal Nizam rule”.
In the inauguration of martyrs’ memorial in Gorata which is in Karnataka's Bidar, where Razakar militia have brutally killed the 200 people. The union minister told that after BJP is re-elected in Karnataka and the grand memorial is built, the party will celebrate the next Hyderabad Liberation Day at Gorata.
Amit Shah said “The people of Hyderabad state were crushed under the Nizam rule even after India got independence from the British.” He also stated, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi respected the aspirations of Telangana people and decided to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day every year.”
