ED files charge sheet against Revanth Reddy:- Firebrand Telangana politician and MP Revanth Reddy has been facing allegations in connection with the cash for vote scam case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a charge sheet against Revanth Reddy who is currently the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President. The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has issued an FIR on Revanth Reddy in this case in the year 2015. The charge sheet of ED mentioned the names of Revanth Reddy, Vem Krishan Keerthan Reddy in the case. Revanth Reddy was grilled by the Enforcement Directorate in the year 2019 in relation with the case in bribing nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson with Rs 50 lakhs.

Rs 50 lakhs were offered to Elvis Stephenson to cast his vote for TDP and BJP candidate Narendar Reddy during the 2015 MLC polls. Out of the total Rs 4.5 crores, Rs 50 lakhs was paid in advance and the video too surfaced all over. Revanth Reddy was named as the prime accused in the case after he was caught in a sting operation on May 31st in the year 2015. Andhra Pradesh ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's name too surfaced in the case but the ED hasn't mentioned his name in the filed charge sheet.
