Kavitha Trailing in Nizamabad:- TRS which swept the Assembly polls in Telangana during December last year sounded over confident of the Lok Sabha polls. Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that TRS will sweep 16 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats. But things are completely different and shocking. TRS is just leading in 8 constituencies and Congress, BJP are leading in 4 segments each. The biggest shock is that KCR's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha, the sitting MP of Nizamabad is trailing in the polls. Going with the trend, Dharmapuri Aravind is leading by 15,000 plus votes in Nizamabad.

Over 175 turmeric farmers filed nominations from the constituency after Kavitha ignored farmers. This gained national attention in the past. Though TRS blamed BJP for ignoring turmeric farmers, this is said to have had an impact on Kavitha. D Aravind from BJP is leading in the race. Congress candidate Madhu Yashki Goud is expected to end up in third position from Nizamabad.
