Murali Mohan Not Contesting In 2019 Elections:- It's going to be a triangular fight in Andhra Pradesh and the state is heading for Assembly and Parliament elections simultaneously next month. The election notification is expected in a week and all the parties are busy finalizing the candidates for the polls. Senior actor and veteran politician Maganti Murali Mohan is the sitting MP from Rajamundry constituency. Though he initially announced that his daughter-in-law Roopa will contest in the next term, the latest update says that the entire family decided not to contest in the polls.

Murali Mohan is keen on charity activities and hence he decided to stay away from politics. He said that he wishes to educate 1000 students through his trust and turn active in other charitable activities in the state. When asked if he is rejected a ticket by TDP, Murali Mohan expressed his confidence of winning the polls with a majority of 2 lakhs for sure. Murali Mohan also said that he is quite loyal to TDP and will continue in the party though he doesn't contest in the polls.
