Websites Requested Not To Give Ratings For Films

It is a practice of giving a rate to the new movies on its release day.  So many hits found on the previews, reviews and ratings indicate the keen interest cine lovers show particularly NRIs before they actually decide to watch the movie.

Although likes dislikes and favorite stars differ from person to person, a general review helps a cine lover to assess the movie with the help of the reviews referred by him.

Murali Mohan a senior Telugu Film actor seeing the threat of losing revenue in case of lower rates are given by the websites, requests those sites engaged in it not to give any ratings for the future films.  He says that the producers of the movies are losing revenues because of this practice.

That means an audience should be kept in dark so that the producers can make money irrespective of the quality of the production as Murali Mohan wants it.  Murali Mohan is right that the openings of a film make a lot of difference to the film makers but it does not mean that a person going to a movie should not be assured of the returns for the amount he spends!
