Mahakutami Announces Common Minimum Programme: With elections heading in Telangana, Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI joined hands as an alliance and named it Mahakutami to take on the leading TRS. Now they announced a Common Minimum Programme to impress the voters ahead of the elections. This CMP is the common manifesto that will be implemented if Mahakutami comes to power in the state. TJS President M Kodandaram is the CMP Convener.

Common Minimum Programme will have special assurances for the families of Telangana martyrs who were unhappy. Along with this, Common Minimum Programme also announced loan waivers for farmers, one lakh jobs in one year, free power to SC, STs, fee reimbursement for students. Common Minimum Programme also promised of cancelling the Contributory Pension Scheme and the old pension scheme will be brought back.

The elections in Telangana will take place on December 7th and the results would be out on December 11th.
