Telangana lockdown extended for ten days

Telangana lockdown extended for ten days:- The government of Telangana implemented strict lockdown in the state for more than three weeks after the number of new cases saw a huge rise. With the deadline coming to an end, the government of Telangana extended the lockdown for ten more days. A cabinet meeting took place yesterday in Pragati Bhavan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) discussed about the curbs and the extension of the lockdown. The lockdown in the state is now extended for 10 more days till June 9th. The relaxation period is increased and relaxation time is between 6 AM and 1 PM. The grace period will be extended for one more hour till 2 PM.

The state will head for 17 hours lockdown on a regular basis from May 31st to June 9th. KCR asked the officials to impose strict lockdown during the period. The state went for a 20-hour lockdown from May 12th to 30th before which there were only night curfews. The cops are expected to continue the lockdown during the announced times and asked all the people who are on the roads to carry an e-pass or the required documents. Telangana government urged the people to stay indoors during this lockdown. The state has been reporting close to 3000 cases on a regular basis. The state borders are closed during the lockdown.
