APSRTC To Resume It Services After May 17th:- The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) is left in hefty losses after the lockdown is implemented across the country. The Centre asked the states to resume all the services slowly and the lockdown ends on May 17th. As of now, there is no clarity on the extension of lockdown and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an announcement on this. As per the latest news, the government of Andhra Pradesh is in plans to resume the services of APSRTC soon.

Going with the speculations, APSRTC services are expected to resume from May 18th with limited services. Only 50% of the passengers will be allowed into the buses and all the necessary arrangements are being made. The physical distancing should be followed to prevent the coronavirus in the bus services. The conductor system will be sidelined for some of the days and the passengers should buy tickets online or at the nearest bus station before joining the bus.

Most of the buses will operate with limited stops and strict guidelines would be issued. The super luxury buses will have 36 seats and they will have three rows of seats. The government of Andhra Pradesh is in plans to hike the fare price by 30-40%. All the passengers will be provided with sanitizers before they board the buses.
