Honeypreet Insan Continues to Get VIP Treatment In Jail:- With rival parties and critics attacking the state’s BJP government over the controversy, the jailed Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's confidante, Honeypreet Insan is allegedly still getting special favors in prison.

The Dera Sacha Sauda chief was openly wooed by the leaders from the ruling party as well as other outfits for votes. This was done as a near-devotional following was commanded by the self-styled godman, which he claimed in the millions - in parts of northern India. After the alleged VIP treatment accorded to Honeypreet drew media attention, the Ambala Central Jail was visited by Haryana's jail minister Krishan Lal Panwar on Monday.

Depsite the prison authorities permitting a car, last Thursday, belonging to the convict's family in a high security area where only police vehicles are allowed, the prison authorities were absolved by the Minister.
As per sources, the cops had even failed to hint the VIP registration number of the car carrying the family members of Honeypreet, including her brother Sahil Taneja and his wife Sonali Taneja.

When Dera followers have openly threatened to break Ram Rahim and Honeypreet out of the prison, the vehicle was allegedly allowed to enter the jail at a time . Almost for nearly three hours, the car, remained inside the jail complex, says sources.

"I have issued a warning to the jail staff not to give any special treatment to anybody. The allegations of VIP treatment to Honeypreet and her family are not true. The family members had entered the jail at 5.19pm and had left within 80 minutes at 5.28 pm. “One of the women traveling in the car was not well so the vehicle was allowed to enter the jail premises," Panwar said. Sources said Honeypreet, was getting home-cooked food in connivance with a jail canteen supervisor as she did not like prison food.

Some other influential inmates too were getting food from home or restaurants for a price, said the sources. However, all the allegations were rejected by the Minister and said as per the jail manual, all convicts were being served rations. "The jail staff was not favouring any inmate. The allegations that homecooked food was being served inside jail were baseless," Panwar said.

A number of videos have been collected by Honeypreet, revealed the police investigations. The Dera supporters were heard saying in the videos that if the sect leader was jailed, they would wipe India off the face of the world.
