Telangana MLA Misbehaves With A Collector: Gets Warned:- Telangana state has been busy with the arrangements of Harithaharam and all the leaders including Chief Minister KCR and his cabinet participated in the activities planned across the state yesterday. Here comes a shocking incident where a legislator of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) allegedly misbehaved with the woman collector in Mahabubabad district after which he had to face the heat.
Shankar Naik, a member of the Telangana state legislative assembly participated in Harithaharam along with fellow leaders and government employees. Preeti Meena, the collector too has been present for the event and in a shocking incident, Shankar Naik has been spotted grabbing the arm of the woman collector. This video went viral all over and all the news channels telecasted the news after which it turned out to be a sensation. The woman collector has been seen disturbed and uncomfortable with the MLA's act and she looked back at him in disapproval.
The government employees joined hands for a strong protest which even included the staff of the collector. They warned the government that they would go on a strike if an apology has not been issued by Shankar Naik. The revenue department protested with black badges asking if collector is being harassed in public, where is the safety for a normal employee. Preeti Meena complained to the Chief Secretary SP Singh about the behaviour of MLA after she felt offended. SP Singh conveyed the news to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister KCR has been extremely shocked with the incident and he asked Shankar Naik to personally meet the Collector and urge an apology. The CM expressed his regrets and anguish over the incident. The CMO informed that KCR has been extremely angry with the behavior of Shankar Naik. He even warned Shankar Naik to change his behavior which will sure turn a threat to the party. KCR even stepped further revealing that he would be suspended from the party if he continues to behave so. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari along with MP Sitaram Naik have been assigned the responsibility of the collector and they are looking the matter. They have been in touch with the collector on this issue on behalf of the government. KCR wanted not to see such incidents again.
Shankar Naik stepped out with an explanation that the incident was accidental and it was not intentional. He said that Preeti Meena is like his sister and in group he happened to fall on her which turned out to be a misfire.
