A senior most IAS official in Telangana state has landed in big trouble. Police have arrested the bureaucrat son for killing his car driver.
The murder incident came to light when a dead body was found stuffed in a gunney bag at an apartment in a busy area in Hyderabad.
The senior officer is working in a key position in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao government. His son Venkat Sukrit reportedly killed his car driver Nagaraju over a petty issue after consuming alcohol.
After killing him he kept the body in a bag in an apartment. Police found many injuries on the dead body.
When residents saw Venkat on Sunday night they suspected him and questioned him. He then confessed that he had committed the crime. The residents then immediately handed over him to the police. Jubilee Hills police have registered a case and launched an investigation in depth.
As soon as the victim's family got to know about it, they rushed to the IAS officer's residence and staged a big dharna in front of his house. They demanded justice to the family. Police was alerted and reach the house to avoid law and order problem.
