High Security for Sathya Sai World Youth Festival

Security has been beefed up for Sathya Sai World Youth Festival which will be organised by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations India and Sathya Sai International Organisation will commence from July 12 to 14. The festival will be held at Puttaparthi for three days. After many reports on ISIS attacks,  security was beefed up for the occasion.

Union minister of state Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the festival. Cricketer V.V.S. Laxman will be the guest of honour. Around 10,000 youths from 70 countries will be participating in th festival at Puttaparthi.

Around 1,300 delegates from all parts of India would also be joining. This event will be organized to promote the importance of service to the everyone withought selfishness. SSIO aims at spreading the thoughts and the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It also initiated Sathya Sai devotees to actively serve in over 120 countries around the world.

Through this programe all the young delegates will get the opportunity to share their experience which they gained in their respective countries. The festival will also feature eminent speakers who will be coming fromacross the world such as Dr. Chandrasekhar Narayan Director of Research IBM USA and R Venkataramanan, executive director TATA foundation.  

The event will be filled with international exhibition and cultural activities which showcase the cultural heritage of many countries.

Sri Nimish Pandya, All India president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations of India, said, “It brings immense pleasure to all of us as we continue to follow Sri Sathya Sai Baba's teachings and bring together the 1st Sathya Sai World Youth Festival. We are sure that the youth who are joining us in vast numbers would benefit from the insightful sessions.”

Anantapur SP S.V. Rajasekhar Babu said “elaborate security arrangements were made for the World Youth Festival in and around Tirupati.”
