Official Caught Bribing, Alleged Peethala Sujatha

An official of Child and Women Welfare Department was caught by the police, for accepting the bribe of Rs.15000, who said that, she took the bribe, on behalf of the TDP minister Peethala Sujatha.

It was known that, Minister Peethala Sujatha was held in a controversy of Rs.10 lakhs worth cash bag at her house premises, which was left by an unknown lady. After identifying the bag, the minister herself informed the police and asked to take it away. The whereabouts of the woman is not known and the inquiry regarding this is being carried down from the past few days.

On Wednesday, Jessy Diamond, a senior assistant of the Child Welfare Department at the Krishna District, was caught red handed while taking a bribe of Rs. 15000 to return back some security deposit amount. On inquiry, she said that, the bribe was collected on the behalf of the TDP minister and claimed that the money was being transferred into the account of the minister.

The police, who have recorded the statements of the woman, however sent the details to the Hyderabad office for the further detailed investigation.

Whereabouts of Minister’s father, still a mystery

It was the minister’s father, who first identified the cash bag in the house premises of the minister and informed the police. But it was heard that the minister’s father is away from the house, when the police tried to investigate him. The better results can be known, when the minister’s father support for the investigation.

However, if allegations on the minister are proved to be true, then it would be another red mark on TDP party, which is already facing a tough time now.
