Terror strikes Paris

Terrorism is spreading its wings to every corner of the World. At least 12 people were killed in a terror attack by masked gunmen on the newspaper, Charlie Hebdo in Paris yesterday. The top editor, prominent cartoonists and police officers have lost their lives in this deadliest attack that France witnessed. This assault also created a huge tension in the European Union.

Officials and eye witnesses said at least two gunmen carried out the attack with automatic weapons. After the attack, the culprits managed to escape which raised more concern over the security. The French authorities added security at houses of worship, news media offices and transportation centers, and conducting random searches in the city of Paris.

According to the sources, the attackers were trained in military and came up premeditated. It is the worst terrorist attack in Europe since the attacks in London in July of 2005. France has the largest Muslim population in European Union and Muslim leaders from all corner of the World are condemning the attack.
