At last the doors have closed for BJP and TDP as both the parties have confirmed their alliance for the upcoming general elections. However, the distribution of seats is yet to made official and deliberations for it will continue even today.
TDP leader L Ramana said, “ally with BJP is confirmed and we would discuss the seat distribution today and arrive to a decision by evening. So far, BJP is demanding more seats in Telangana, but our local leaders are not happy. We have to convince them and make sure they won't leave the party.”
BJP is expected to contest around 45-50 Assembly seats in Telangana while in Seemandhra, they willing to contest only in 15 Assembly seats and five Lok Sabha seats.
This will be a huge bonus for both the parties in Telangana and Seemandhra. According to the survey reports BJP and TDP might form governments in both the regions.
