APNGOs call of strike

APNGOs who were on strike from February 5th on behalf on the United Andhra Pradesh have called off the strike as the Telangana Bill got approved in Lok Sabha. The Seemandhra Employees union took this decision yesterday and will join the duty from today midnight as there is no hope in fighting for the united AP.

Speaking on it APNGOs general secretary Chandrasekhar Reddy said, “we have tried our level best to stall the creation of Telangana. We met all the national leaders and held meeting at Ramleela grounds in protest but all our efforts went in vain. We will hold a meeting with all other employee unions to discuss our future strategies.”

As the Telangana Bill clearled in Lok Sabha, we are calling off the strike. Will join our duties from 20th February, added Chandrasekhar Reddy. In August, APNGOs went for strike for 66 days and the current strike lasted for 14 days.
