The Congress party which is stubborn the creation of Telangana matter has issued whip to all its Parliamentarians and ordered them to be available for the last days of Parliament sessions. Parliamentary affairs Minister Kamal Nath has admitted the Telangana Bill will be debated in Lok Sabha tomorrow and so consequently the whip was issued.
Sources say that Congress president Sonia Gandhi might talk in the house on Telangana Bill which could shut the mouth of the oppositions who are accusing the party. But no takers were there whether Sonia will talk or not and the suspense will continue till tomorrow. Meanwhile after the Vote-on-account budget, Sonia has reportedly met BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu and asked their party's support on Telangana. However, BJP clarified that if amendments suggested by the party are made and a detailed discussion on the bill is held then it assured ample of support.
Group of Ministers members Sushil Kumar Shinde and Jairam Ramesh have also met Venkaiah Naidu seeking support nonetheless they could not zero upon a decision. We hear from the Delhi that Congress is doing all the possible steps on Telangana and let's see how it goes tomorrow.
