Protocol Bypassed By Governor

Governor ESL Narasimhan went to Delhi to meet bigwigs and to give his report on the affairs of the State regarding law and order, protests in Seemandhra, the repercussions of the strike of APNGOs and other unions, Chief Minister’s way of functioning and other sundry things related to the State.  It is also heard that the Governor also talked about the truth in the CM’s forming a political party of his own.

Governor met the President Pranab Mukherjee, AICC President Sonia Gandhi, Members of the GoM Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Finance Minister Chidambaram, PM’s Office and Staff Affairs Minister V.Narayana Swamy, AICC Chief Secretary Digvijay Singh and IB Chief Asif Ibrahim separately.

Governor’s meeting with Sonia Gandhi and Digvijay Singh became important as it is connected with the political affairs of the State.  It is known from known sources that the Governor advocated a fast implementation of the decision taken on bifurcation in the wake of the strikes that went on immediately after the decision for the bifurcation was announced.

He talked to Sonia Gandhi for 40 minutes during which time the talk is that the Chief Minsiter Kiran Kumar Reddy was the central point of discussion.  He talked to Sushil Kumar Shinde for 15 minutes but he talked to the Intelligence Bureau Chief for 40 minutes.  It is also came to know that the Governor gave his report on the strength if the Telangana Note is introduced in the Assembly.

All the above are only assumptions based on the information received from reliable sources but Governor only said that he met all of them just as a routine but he did not go on any special mission.

The objections heard are the political motivation behind Narasimhan’s tour.  Highly objectionable deed was his visit to the Digvijay Singh’s residence where as Digvijay Singh is only doubling as an incharge of the State’s political affairs of Andhra Pradesh for the Congress party along with his position as the Chief Secretary of the AICC.  As the first citizen of the State of Andhra Pradesh the Governor is not obliged as per the protocol to go to an in charge of a political party who is not even a Minister.
