Assembly and Legislature

Today again Assembly faced the same type of disruption from the opposition parties as their pressing issues were not accepted by the Speaker of the Assembly Nadendla Manohar.

TDP wants a discussion on the corrupt APPSC Board.  CPI wants to bring forth the issue of police atrocities by entering their main office to arrest the leaders on the day of Chalo Assembly.  TRS alleges the arrests of their leaders in Chalo Assembly program.  YSRCP protested for the rising fertilizer prices and shortage of seeds.

As the proposals were rejected by the Speaker, opposition leaders staged noisy protests by shouting at the Speaker’s podium that made the Speaker to adjourn for half hour.

The former Congress Minister Shankara Rao requested the Speaker to give him a chance to talk on the issues of the lands of Green Fields, illegal transportation of red sandal and disproportionate assets of DGP.

The Govt. whip Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy asked the leaders of the parties of the Assembly to attend a meeting in Speaker’s cabin for which TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu decided not to attend.

The Members of the Legislative Councils are going to meet for 5 days from today i.e., up to 21st of this month.
