Tense situation is prevailing at Osmania University campus of Hyderabad. The reports indicated that the OU students-in support of the proposed Sadak Bandh-to be taken out by TJAC tomorrow, have taken out a bike rally this afternoon. However, police stopped the students at the NCC gate and the situation turned tense. Reportedly, stone pelting was taking place on the campus premises.

It may be noted that TJAC is all geared up for Sadak Bandh (road blockade). When certain ministers met chief minister Kiran Kumar today over permission to this bandh, Kiran reportedly said that the final decision would be made by the police as there were clear directions from the Supreme Court over road blockades. All in all, at a point of time when UPA is apparently worrying about DMK withdrawing its support over Sri Lankan Tamils' issue, Telangana turmoil is reportedly like a pain in the neck to Congress high command.
