Tirumala: The rush at Tirumala is normal. Devotees are waiting in six compartments. For Sarvadarshanam (free darshan) it is taking four hours and for Sheegradarshanam (special darshan) it is taking two hours. On Wednesday as many as 41,682 devotees reportedly thronged Vaikuntam and sought blessings of Lord Balaji.

Vastunna Meekosam: TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's padayatra Vastunna Meekosam is all set to enter Rangareddy district today from Mahabubnagar district. It is known that Babu started his walkathon on October 2 from Anantapur district and crossed Kurnool district to reach Mahabubnagar. Elaborate arrangements have been made in Rangareddy district by TDP cadre to welcome Babu grandly.

OU exams postponed: All the examinations on the Osmania University campus and even Ph.D interviews got postponed. The vice chancellor of the university told the media that this decision was taken in the wake of the present tense situation on the campus.

Poonam Pandey in legal trouble: Model-turned-actress Poonam Pandey seems to be in soup. An advocate from Bengaluru has filed a public interest litigation (PIL) in a local court in Bangalore. The court summoned Poonam Pandey directing her to appear before the court on February 26. This PIL was filed by Umesh in the beginning of 2012 against Poonam Pandey's statement to go nude in case Team India wins World Cup.

Advani turns 85: BJP senior leader L K Advani has turned 85 today. BJP president Nitin Gadkari is likely to meet Advani today and wish him a happy birthday.
