Unified state protests intensify!

With talks of bifurcation on the upheaval, Seemandhra has also intensified its demand for a unified state. Student organizations have been leaders to resign form their posts to keep the state unified. On Friday (January 25), avid protests were observed at various places across the Andhra region of the state.

Students from the unified Joint action committee embarked on massive protests demanding a unified Andhra Pradesh. In Kurnool the protestor took out a massive rally urging their demand of mass resignations. In Visakhapatnam city the protestors gathered in large numbers, outside the residence of the Congress leader T Subbirama Reddy.

In the temple city, Tirupati, Government Nurses association urging a unified state and poured milk over the statue of late Shri Potti Sriramulu who  pioneered the cause.

In another incident at Kadapa, students gathered at the residence of Minister Ahmadullah and demanded his resignation demanding an unified Andhra Pradesh. It was tense for a while in the morning when the police sprung into action and arrested the student leaders.

The whole situation across the both sides is tensile and looks like a fuming dormant volcano. The common man on both the sides seems to be disturbed, by the developments. January 28 could either put a full stop to the brewing storm or raise a new one, claim sources. On this day the Congress high command is to deliver its verdict on the impending issue.
