Telugu Association of North America (TANA) has announced elections to board of directors and executive committees. The chairman of the election committee, Mr Gudavaram Paparao has released the election notification. In total there are four seats for board of directors. Those elected as the board of directors would be allowed to stay in the post for the next four years. All major decisions related to TANA schedules, in flow of funds and other stuff would be apparently taken care by the board of directors.

There are other 17 posts for executive committee and six posts for foundation committee. For executive committee, there would be one executive vice president, who would continue in the post for two years and secretaries, secretary and rural executive vice-president posts right from Canada to New England to Great Plains.

As per the election schedule, those interested should file their nominations for the respective posts on or before February 19 while the deadline to withdraw the nominations is February 23.  The results would be announced on April 4. For further details one can log on to the website of TANA.
