TANA elections: Jampala becomes vice-prez

Telugu Association of North America, one of the prestigious associations working for welfare of Telugu people in North America, is all in news as it has released the list of the new members who have been elected to various posts of the association for the year 2013-15. Once in every three years, these elections would take place. Last time it was in 2010 the elections took place.

Dr. Jampala Choudhary has been elected as the vice president of TANA. Satish Vemana has been elected as  secretary and Tatha Madhu has become the treasurer. In the last elections Totakura Prasad got elected as the vice-president. It was Thotakura Prasad who announced the result of TANA elections on Monday.

It has to be mentioned here that TANA has been well-recognized and well received association in North America, which even promoted Telugu language and festivals overseas. Several NRIs have hoped that TANA would continue to come out with more welfare and social activities under the leadership of Jampala.
