Missing tech students bodies found in Gandipet

Tech students drowned in the Gandipet Lake were traced after relentless efforts by agile swimmers. However, only one survived while the other two were dead. Three students who were studying their M Tech at the Shaadan Engineering College set out for fishing on Sunday morning at the Gandipet Lake. While fishing they slipped in to the lake and shouted for help. The anglers near the lake dared and rescued one of them.

However, the other two were missing. Many swimmers were pressed in to service to rescue the duo. After tiring efforts only today, their bodies were traced. The currents in the lake had drifted the bodies away.

Of the three students Hakim was rescued and Mohammed Abdul and Mohammed Aleemdin had succumbed. All of them were in their twenty’s said onlookers. The currents in the lake were virulent due to the onset of monsoons. (With inputs from intenet- AW AarKay)
