On Tuesday April 3 at Kothapet fruit market three persons were injured badly when a software engineer rammed his car into them, Varun Kumar aged of 24-year-old who works for Microsoft in Hitec City fell asleep at the wheels of his car and rammed into them.The mishap took place around 7 am when he was coming back to home subsequently finishing of his night shift.
Chaitanyapuri SI B. Prabhakar said that the accident took place just half-a-km away from Mr Kumar’s house. He was exhausted after the night shift and had left his office at around 6.30 am and had dozed off at the wheels.
The victims were two brothers, Mr Hanumanthu aged of 37 and Mr Tulasiram, 41 as both were fruit vendors being treated for their injuries at Anurag Orthopaedic Centre and whereas one more victim named as Mohammed Rafiq aged of 40-year-old an auto-rickshaw driver was taken to Osmania General Hospital with fractured legs.
