The APPSC today announced that it would issue notification in a week to fill 200 Group-1 posts in the state.
Addressing a media conference in Hyderabad, the APPSC secretary Ms Poonam Malakondaiah said the government has sent proposals to fill 8000 posts totally but the notifications would be issued in a phased manner to fill them.
She said the date of the Group-1 preliminary examination would also be announced along with the notification for the first time in the APPSCE history. The agency had issued a notification in 2008 for the recruitment of 210 posts but the process of recruitment is not yet over ever after three years because of legal tangles. “We don’t want a repeat of such problems,” she said.
She said that the candidates preparing for the Dec 3 examination of Junior lecturers’ posts can download their hall tickets from Nov 22 onwards. “The hall tickets downloaded in the past will not be valid as the exam centers have been changed,” she said.
