Gali grabs ten acres of lake at Shamshabad

Mining mafia don Gali Janardhan Reddy’s illegalities are not limited to mining only as everyone thinks.
Not satisfied with being a mine grabber, he also grabbed 7 to10 acres of a lake adjacent to his Sri Vensai’s health Village real estate venture at Dubbacharla village situated at a distance of 20 km from the Shamshabad international airport near Hyderabad.

Gali extended the fencing to the grabbed land. In his venture, he built a majestic 3-storeid circle shaped building having landing facility for his helicopter, a modern guest house and a swimming pool.

Going into the details, Gali purchased 140 acres of land at Dubbacharla village in 2007 and launched his own Brahmani Avenues but later he changed the name to Sri Vensai’s health Village to avoid recognition. Adjacent to his venture, there used to be a lake extending up to 115 acres which was controlled by the minor irrigation department. This lake is in the jurisdiction of Kalvakolu village lying adjacent to Dubbacharla.

He managed the department’s officials with his money power and occupied just seven to ten acres of that lake.

When contacted, Maheswaram Tahasildar Ms Swarnalatha told journalists that she has requested for resurvey of the lake to find out whether any part of it was grabbed by any one.
