Ambident Scam: Gali Janardhan Reddy Promises To Return Rs 20 Cr:- Couple of days ago, mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy has been held to accepting a bribe of Rs 20 crores from Ambident Marketing Pvt Ltd which duped hundreds of investors and collected over Rs 600 crores. Gali Janardhan Reddy took the amount to bail them out against the case filed by the Enforcement Directorate. However things changed completely after the issue saw limelight and Gali Janardhan Reddy has been nabbed. Reddy's personal assistant Mehfuz Ali Khan promised to return the bribed amount.

During the bail hearing in a sworn affidavit presented to the magistrate, Khan made the statement. The deal was signed in March 2018 between Syed Ahmed Fareed, Chairman of Ambident Marketing Pvt Ltd and Gali Janardhan Reddy for the settlement of ED cases. Ali Khan agreed that he accepted 57 kg gold which costs Rs 18 crores. Though Gali Janardhan Reddy wanted Rs 25 crores to settle the issue, Fareed agreed to pay Rs 20 crores. After Rs 18 crores worth gold, Fareed transferred Rs 2 crores to a close aide of Gali Janardhan Reddy.

The bail petition of Gali Janardhan Reddy has been heard on Tuesday and the decision will be out today.
