Heavy rains across the state forecasted for the next 24 hours

The Vishakhapatnam Cyclone Monitoring Cell, under the State Meteorological Department has informed that the trough formed in the Bay of Bengal is slowly gaining momentum and weather across the state might receive thunderous showers. It has already been raining considerably well since mid night in the capital, Hyderabad. The position might remain the same across the state the next twenty four hours says the department.

The department observations are noted as the northeast monsoon has been vigorous over Rayalaseema and active over Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Rainfall occurred at most places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and South interior Karnataka and at a few places over Rayalaseema and Coastal Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over North Costal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North interior Karnataka.

WEATHER FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 4TH   NOVEMBER 2011: Rain or thundershower would occur at most places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at many places over Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal and South interior Karnataka.  Isolated rain or thundershower may occur over Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.

HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain would occur over Coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain would also occur over interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Coastal Karnataka during the same period.
