The CBI has decided to make an assessment of the value of the mansion of YSR Congress party chief Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy at Lotus Ponds in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad.

CBI SP Mr Venkat and his team of officials along with senior officials of Income Tax department, GHMC and National Remote Sensing Centre visited the house today. All of them spent several hours examining the house and making an assessment of the construction cost.

Earlier, CBI issued notices to the GHMC officials asking them to be available for questioning in the Jagan properties case. The CBI is likely to question some senior Town planning officials of the GHMC in this connection.

CBI establishing office at Bellary

The CBI, investigating the illegal mining case filed against the former Karnataka Minister and the illegal mining don Mr Gali Janardhan reddy, has decided to start an office at Bellary to speed up the investigation.

Senior CBI officials have reached Bellary this morning for taking up visits to the illegal mining areas at Obulapuram in Ananthapuram district in AP and at Bellary in Karnataka.
