The Telangana Degree and Engineering lecturers who were on strike in the Sakala Janula Samme demanding the separate statehood for Telangana which reached the 37th day today have assured that they would get back to work from Friday. The Joint Action Committee of the lecturers had a meeting with the Chief Minister N Kran Kumar Reddy and decided to withdraw from the protest. They also assured that they would attend regular work from Friday. Most of the educational institutes in the Telangana region were closed because of the faculty participation in the stir.
