APCC chief, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, said today that the congress would organize a huge public meeting in the name of Uttara Andhra Congress Garjana at Visakhapatnam on September 25.

Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad this evening, Botsa said party leader Mr Chiranjeevi and chief minister Kirankumar reddy would be the main attraction at the meeting along with him.

Speaking on the mass general strike, the PCC chief said that the strike has become problematic to the poor people as they have lost their livelihood and appealed to the striking employees to call off the strike keeping in view the welfare of the people.

Meanwhile, Telangana political JAC convener, Prof Kodanda Ram and TRS MLA and son of KCR, Mr K. Tarakarama rao held a meeting with Botsa Satyanarayana at the latter’s residence on the removal of RTC contract staff from service.

They requested Botsa to ask the CM to take back into service the retrenched contract employees and also to release the arrested TRS leaders and activists from jails.
