Jagan won with money power: Naidu

babuTDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu described the victory of YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Kadapa as a victory of money power.

Addressing a farmers’ rally at Hanuman Junction in Krishna district on Friday, Naidu said Jagan won the election doling out money and liquor to the people. “People must know the dangers of electing such leaders as Jagan who have amassed wealth through corrupt means,” he said.

Drawing out a distinction, the TDP leader said that people in Tamil Nadu had thrown a corrupt party from power while the people of Kadapa had elected one of most corrupt leaders in the country. “Both congress and YSR congress competed with each other to influence voters with money and liquor,” Naidu charged.

Chandrababu Naidu praised the AIADMK supremo J. Jayalalitha for her victory in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. “She was successful in fighting against the corruption and ousting the DMK from power,” said Naidu.
