JP meets CM

  Lok Satta, Jayaprakash Narayan, CM, KiranKumar Reddy, power plant, KakarapalleLok Satta Party President Jayaprakash Narayan today called on the Chief Minister, N.KiranKumar Reddy at his residence. Talking to the reporters after meeting the CM, the Lok Satta Party chief said that he delibarated with the CM on the scenario of power, industry fields.

He told the newsmen that he sought to bring to the notice of the CM about the prevailing unrest scenario in the state arising out of the governmment's decision to institute power plants in the state. He carried his suggestions to the Chief Minister on the aspects like conducting feasibility and determining the areas where the power projects are required to be set up along with necessary measures like eliciting the public opinion before setting up power plants at the sites where the government intends to do so.

According to JP, he also conveyed his proposition to the CM that committees must be preceded by the setting up a power plant as such advanced measures will help avert the restlessness among the public. Further, he asked the CM to see that high emission of pollution be avoided whilst setting up the industries, power plants.
