India's dashing opening batsman is to tie the nuptial knot today at a Gurgaon farm house. Earlier the date for the Delhi southpaw's marriage with Natasha Jain had been set for October 28. Gambhir is to wed Natasha Jain, who belongs to a prominent business family based in Delhi. The high profile wedding is believed to a very restricted event to be attended by close friends and family. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been invited the singer for the wedding.

Sources close to the cricketer confirm that it is an arranged marriage and Gautam, 29, and Natasha, 27, were introduced earlier this year by their families. “The wedding was fixed five-six months back. It will be a simple event, with not more than 100-200 invitees,” says a source. In fact, Gambhir's name was not included in India's squad for the Twenty-20 match to be played against England on October 29 for the same reason.

So officially India’s celebrity bachelor turns into a family man today. Delhi designers Shantanu-Nikhil will be designing the couple’s wedding trousseau. A source says, “Natasha has met Shantanu-Nikhil a few times for her designs. The designers are also doing the clothes for the cocktail party. Natasha has requested something very subtle and stylish, and she has a keen interest in design herself. The designers are also readying Gautam’s outfit.”
