Fox Star Studios the US based production house is all set to release its first Tamil film, Engaeyum Eppothum, today all over Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Bangalore. The release for key international markets is in the next two weeks. In Tamil Nadu itself the film is to be shown on 130 screens.
The film is co-produced by AR Murugadoss Productions, the first of a two movie deal for co-producing Tamil films between the two production houses.
Engaeyum Eppothum is a breezy romantic film with an ensemble of cast including Jai, Anjali, Ananya and Sharvanand in the lead roles. The film is directed by M Saravanan.
The US based production house has already made its presence felt in Bollywood after producing films like My Name is Khan, Dum Maro Dum and Khichdi: The Movie.
Fox Star Studios Pvt Ltd is an India-based movie production and Distribution Company, a joint venture between Twentieth Century Fox and STAR, both owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation.
