A jeweler was arrested by the Kanjurmarg police after they have nabbed him for buying stolen gold chains which were worth over Rs 1 lakh.  Bharat Lodha (30), owner of Society Jeweller in Kanjurmarg east purchased the stolen property. Manisha Kamnekar a domestic help had sold him the chains in June and was arrested last week. She revealed the name of the jeweler later during interrogation.

Bharath had paind only rs 6,000 for the stolen jewelry to the domestic help. She in turn paid Rs 2000 to her aides a Class X student and another a junior college student.

Both the accomplices had broken into a house of in Kanjurmarg and stole the valuables. They were later arrested by the complaints of Prabhakar Bange and were confined in Dongri Home. They had also confessed that they had been in touch with Kamnekar to sell the valuables.
