Another ceasefire violation kills a BSF jawan

Ceasefire violation that seemed to end late night yesterday after they began had yet again started in the R S Pura Sector of the International Border in Jammu. These incidents have killed one BSF Jawan.

The Pakistani rangers and the Border Security Force had fired bullets at each other yesterday night but had stopped for the night only to restart it today morning while the rangers had fired at ambush points of BSF.

Pakistan had continuously violated the ceasefire norms as this was the third such incident in just two days. Even on the Independence Day, firing was witnessed between both the sides. The Pakistani forces have made a BSF observation post their prime target at Hiranagar Sector firing on the forward posts in the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch.

Firing also occurred at Indian Border Out Post near Pansar International Border in Samba sector.

BSF had mentioned that the number of ceasefire violations have increased greatly and it was speculated that one of the reasons could be the recent discovery of the underground tunnel that they were building to infiltrate the nation. This 400 meter long tunnel was dug out at a depth of 25 feet in Samba, Jammu.
