Red alert has been issued in Pune of Maharashtra as soon as five explosions rocked the city last evening in Maharaj area. Although no casualties were reported, a person was injured. The police who plunged into the action suspected whether this injured person was accused but they later said he wasn't accused. The bomb disposal squad, which was immediately pressed into the action, the moment these low intensity explosions reported, have successfully disposed a bomb. In total, the miscreants reportedly planted six bombs.

It may be recalled that just two years back, a major explosion took place at German Bakery killing at least 15 persons. The Maharashtra DGP, Sanjeev Dayal didn't tell the media whether this was a terror attack. The police, however, admitted that these attacks were well planned. Meanwhile, the investigators were trying to find out as to which explosive was used in the bomb.
