Abu Jundal who was arrested in Indira Gandhi International Airport after being deported in the Saudi Arabia Airport was kept in custody of the Delhi Police. Interrogations by the Delhi Police have revealed key information in the Afghan links with the 26/11 plots.

Jundal's passport in the name of Riyasat Ali was confiscated by the police. The passport Abu in possession of Abu Jundal showed that he is a resident of Pakistan's Sheikpura. This passport is valid till 2014. Information from the interrogation is being recorded and would be submitted to the foreign ministry on Tuesday Night which would then be submitted to Pakistan.

Pakistan would be questioned on how a passport was issued to an Indian citizen and would be demanded to make inquiries regarding the same. The complete details of the interrogation would not be revealed and the ministry would provide only that information that wouldnt harm the interrogation” said an official from home ministry.

Indian Intelligence agencies faced great hurdles in explaining the Saudi authorities that the identity documents provided by Abu were fake while Pakistan had demanded that Saudi Arabia should handover Jundal to them by presenting them the same documents. However, reports of DNA tests and other other identity documents of his parents were submitted to gain the custody of Jundal.
