A 4 year old girl had the fall of her life from a 10 floor building  about 2 weeks ago in Khar Ghar, Navi Mumbai. Miraculously she survived the fall as she luckily landed on a bushy tree in the garden. Though the event took place on June 11th June, the accident came into light only on July 2nd when the parents registered a complain against the babysitter.

According to the mother, Suman Yadav, “ Since we both cant stay at home, we have decided to leave Pari (Aparajitha), at the creche in our apartment (Monarch Orchid at sector 19) at 10th floor. On June 11, Kirti Sharma called us up that our daughter had fallen off the balcony and has been admitted in the hospital. It is sheer negligence of her to let such an incident happen. Suitable action should be taken against her.”

“Police had also neglected the matter after we filed a complaint” she said. The police however said that they were looking into the matter and a formal complaint would be lodged against the guilty soon”.

Miraculously Aparajitha was not seriously hurt by the 10 floor fall. She beat death by suffering only a fracture, and minor injury to the eye. Parents said that she was indeed extremely lucky to have landed on the soft ground of the lawn, feet first.
